We recently had a demonstration day on behalf of ERIKS Industrial services whereby we demonstrated a variety of lifting and material handling equipment to GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) employees at their facility in Irvine, Ayrshire.
 
100 employees were at the event and had a variety of equipment demonstrated to them in conjunction with MEPLLA and ESS Safeforce.

We have a range of training opportunities available to help you enhance your employee’s knowledge.  Below is the variety of training courses available to book:

  • PASMA Tower Scaffolding (Mobile access and low level) - our PASMA accreditated courses provide candidates with tje skills neded to erect, work and disassemble scaffold towers and low level access equipment. We have 4 individual training courses avaliable at any of our nationwide training centre of excellence branches
  • Safety harness awareness - here candidates are taught a deep understand of the necessity for safety, the corrosponding legislation and the dangers that are associated with any form fo work that requires a safety harness
  • Mobile Elevated Platforms
  • Safe use and Mounting of Abrasive Wheels - here candiates are taught how to safetly operate machines that use abrasive wheels. The candidates are also taught how to both choose and safely mount the abrasive wheels
  • Working at Height - here candiadtes are instructed with the underpinnings that form the 2005 'Working at Heights Regulations Act'. They are also provided with the relevent health and safety information and an overview on how to perform a working at height risk assessment.
  • Safe Use of Ladders and Steps - here candiates are taught hwo to safetly work with steps and aldders whislt also being informed of the msot current and relevent legislation in the industry
  • Manual Handling - here candidates are taught how to minimise the risk of potential injury to yourself via instruction in the correct form of lifting techniques and the consequences if not followed correctly
  • Forklift training - this is ideal for for operators with limited or no experience
  • Asbestos awareness - here candidates are taught to dangers of asbestos and what to do if the substance is discovered
  • Fire warden - here candidates are taught the responsibilities with specific information, skills and knowledge that will enable them to conduct the specific duties associated with a fire marshal or warden
